Instructor Bio: David Taylor, Ed.S.
My education includes a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Operations and a Masters
of Instructional Technology from the University of Central Florida. I also have
an Educational Specialist degree in Computing Technology in Education. I started off
sitting right where you are by earning an AA and an AS from Seminole. I wrote my
first program here in 1979 on an IBM System 36.
I was in the United States Army where I served in the Field Artillery, as an Army
Recruiter at Texas Tech University, and I was fortunate to have made an All-Army
Sports Team, but one of my favorite assignments was serving in the Military Police in Ansbach, Germany.
I was stationed in Germany twice for a total of five years and the rest of the time
in the States.
My hobbies include racquetball, cycling, kayaking, wind surfing, target pistols,
diving, and world travel but computer programming is still my favorite pastime.
